We offer gracious accommodations, flexibility, and a prime location—an easy commute to the beach, shops and hair salons, fine and casual dining, and our favorite wedding venues—the  Wychmere Beach Club and Chatham Bars Inn. We’re also only a short ride from the ferry dock, and a forty-five-minute ferry ride from Nantucket.

In the heart of Harwich Port, on Main Street and one block from the beach on Nantucket Sound, The Mooring’s understated elegance and charm is just what you need to make any stay an unforgettable one.  Our parking lot accommodates six vehicles. The home boasts a state-of-the-art kitchen, with plenty of counter space for your food prep, and sparkling appliances. The open and inviting first floor includes a formal dining room which seats eight, a parlor, a kitchen, and a great room. A large fireplace connects the dining room and parlor room, and another warms the great room which features comfortable lounge seating, as well as a high-top bar. The most special part of The Mooring though may be the spacious wraparound porch, perfect for mingling and enjoying the fresh Cape air.
